Little Bird Therapy

Through my experiences working with children and families, I have learned to come alongside people of all ages in school, community, and foster care settings. My work focuses on child-parent attunement with a goal of growing joy as children develop and families change shape. I am passionate about safety in relationships, secure attachment between parent and child, and parenting support. I believe each parent is their own person developing their own identity in the process of growing another human - what a task! We will use strategies to address child mental health and behavioral needs as well as support to parents. My techniques are trauma-informed and evidence-based; some of which include strategies from: Child Parent Psychotherapy, Trauma-Informed Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Synergetic Play Therapy. Therapeutic art, sand tray, music, and play are provided to assist with expression development, communication, and a sense of belonging for children and adults alike.
